George
Washing†on’s Last Will and Testament.
One of
the most precious pieces of American history, our first President’s
Last Will and Testament endured years of being hidden in an outdoor
wine cellar and then locked for safekeeping in a vault. Now, 203
years after it was written, the Will has been meticulously restored
by a leading conservator. Hundreds of holes, tears, splits and loose
fragments were repaired, and each of the 44 pages has been entrusted
to the protection of Artcare Archival products.
Lewis
and Clark Artifacts
The
Lewis and Clark Herbarium is a priceless collection of 226 plant
specimens gathered in 1803-1806 on the western expedition commissioned
by President Thomas Jefferson. |

When
you fall in love
with a piece of art or a photograph, you want
to protect it from the dulling and damaging effects of time and pollutants
in our environment. For you there is no more secure framing choice
than the Artcare Archival System.
Artcare matting and mounting products are used by museums and framers
around the world to ensure the brightest future for their priceless
artwork. These framing materials create a protective environment for
your treasured piece, shielding it against invisible pollutants that
cause artwork to fade and photographs to turn yellow, and both to
deteriorate. With Artcare protection, your art and memorabilia will
be safe
and sound for generations to come.
The next time you’re having art framed, ask for
Artcare.
Your grandchildren
will be thankful you did. |

These
historic artifacts have endured two hundred years of transport by
horse and boat, continual handling, changes in temperature, and insect
infestation. To this day, the collection still serves as a primary
reference for botanists and historians, and has been designated as
one of America’s Treasures by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Today, on the eve of the collection’s bicentennial commemoration,
each of the 226 specimens has been entrusted to the protection of
Artcare Archival products |

In
independent lab tests, the print shown above was exposed
to concentrated doses of nitrogen dioxide, the most common air pollutant.
Both sides were tested in the same testing chamber for the same length
of time. Neither side was exposed to light during testing. The results
prove the active performance of the Artcare Archival System. |
